Yak 50 Oil Cooler

FREE SHIPPING IN CONTINENTAL US If your Yak 50 is unable to keep Oil Temperatures ' in the green ' during the colder months of the year, land and do something about it. What matters is not how cold it feels today outside your hangar, but instead how much cold air will be flowing across your Oil Cooler at the speeds and altitudes where you'll be operating. Unlike the Yak 52, 55 and Yak 18-T, the 50 was not fitted with an Oil Cooler Blanking plate from the Factory. So 2 fixed mounting tabs, a static hinge plate, rivets to mount them and 2 wire snap cotter pins are included in this kit. The rubber bumpers press against the face of the oil cooler, the 2 tabs should be mounted at the upper edge, the half hinge at the bottom. As shown in the picture, you'll find using Clecos advantageous to accurately position these fixed mounting brackets. Remember to include the plate in your Daily Inspection, so that as warmer weather arrives, it can be unclipped as easily as you installed it.
