Vw Oil Cooler

This part fits: Hoover bit (oil cooler sealing frame) for offset doghouse oil cooler in a stock VW shroud. a copy of VW part number 113 117 321 This is the #1 most overlooked part on a VW engine and it is one of the most important. This "L" shaped part seals the bottom edge of the offset oil cooler on late model doghouse fan shrouds. Looking at the pictures, you can see the huge gap left if you don't install a hoover bit at all. You can also see how nicely it seals up this area when installed on the oil cooler. These hoover bits are laser cut from 22 gauge steel and fixture bent. A Second layer of steel is added in the corner to cure the common failure of cracking an tearing. A steel threaded insert is installed in the stock location for securing it to the fan shroud. Finally, the hoover bit is blasted and powdercoated in satin black.
