Factory copper fittings on transmission must be removed before installation. Do take them out please! New NPT fittings to transmission have tappered threads, looked different from factory fittings but they are the corret ones to use. The further you screw them in, the more tightened it become, and you don't have to screw them totally in. Over-tightening may crack the transmission case. New barb fitting 2pcs are used to connect into factory rubber hoses in front of cooler. Factory fittings on heat exchanger will be needed. Do keep them please!
