If you want a cheaper price I can sell without the battery. Battery is the most expenssive part of the upgrades.
This is another brand new razor ecosmart metro HD custom modded and upgraded scooter. I bought one of these to mod and liked it so bought a second one and modded it a different way. It's like new only opened to be custumized and tested for functionality. The scooter came with a very weak acid battery and controller so I upgraded the controller to match the new powerful battery and also added a new throttle and a lcd display. Now instead of powering the scooter from the bottom you can just power it on from the lcd display and just take off . With the new Lcd screen you have more options on how to manage speed, you have 5 different levels of speeds from eco to full power. The breaks were kinda bad so I had them adjusted for more functionality. The battery now is a 48v 15ah and the new controller gives the motor top peak performance above stock limit making the scooter go faster, with more torque and last longer with more range. The battery is the same as shown in the pictures but black instead of orange. Please note I wouldn't recommend this for kids due to the new high torque and speed. The bottom case was slightly modded to accommodate the new battery and controller. The scooter now can reach more than 25mph I tested the scooter and got 28mph but please keep in mind that depends on user weight and terrain. Please Always wear protective gear. Also note that due to the mods the power switch at the bottom is no longer functional with my set up but can be functional again because I left it intact I just disconnected the cables and the Same goes for the charger port. To charge the new battery you will need to take off the wood cover and use a battery charger plug. The battery as to be charged using a adaptor. I never got the chance to connect the charger port to the controller due to more time and cost. But you can still easily install the controller to the charger port for easy charging. Battery and controller are removable. The scooter comes with the rack and basket. This scooter it's very heavy by itself but with the new battery its less heavy and moves fast and smooth.
