Can be installed permanently or temporarily. Environmentally friendly and ideal for outdoor backyard parties. Runs cool and quite, consumes less power, gives out more lumens w/o any UV light.  Compared to a 6ft fluorescent light bulb this fixture provides more lumens and cuts down energy bill significantly. Moreover,  brightness stays the same for thousands of hours unlike fluorescent bulbs that start to dim still consuming the same number of WATTS. Some fluorescent fixtures  are with little or no light, consuming the same number of watts because ballast  still consumes the same energy. This fixture has no ballast, so the light  maintains the same brightness throughout and there is no distracting humming or buzzing. Flying insects are not attracted to this light. No drop in Luminosity because of cold weather. Mercury Free. UV  Light Free. Install the two clamps (included) on the surface and snap the fixture into it. To connect another fixture install two  more clamps in line with the previous fixture, snap the second fixture in the clamps and slide both fixtures towards each other after placing connector (included) in the middle.
