It's controlled electronically and operates with a self-contained refrigeration system that uses environmentally friendly R134a refrigerant. Forced-air cooling and high-RPM fans keep the cabinet in the range of 36 to 40 degrees Fahrenheit. Supporting an organized workspace, the five wire dividers in the cabinet of the Beverage Air DW79 bottle cooler let bartenders separate different flavors of beer. This ensures that when users slide back one of the three drawers, they can access the type of beer they need quickly and efficiently. A bottle opener on the unit helps pop off beer lids, which are then caught by the cap catcher underneath. The top of the cooler is made of stainless steel for durability, and the exterior is black vinyl to ensure it looks nice behind a bar.
